About Najma Zanelli

Operator first. Coach second. That order matters.

I am Najma Zanelli, founder and CEO of NAZ Global Consultancy.

The short version

Twenty years inside. Then out.

I have spent more than twenty years in financial services and healthcare, including JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, and Humana. Medicare Advantage. New York State managed care compliance. Provider data operations. Market operations. The unglamorous machinery that decides who gets covered, who gets paid, and who gets left holding the bill.

In 2023 I left corporate and built NAZ Global Consultancy.

Today I do three things. I coach women and business owners privately on money. I train workforces for employers through an 8 week financial wellness cohort. And I help Medicare agencies and agents grow through marketing that actually understands the compliance rules it is operating inside.

The longer version

I did not learn this in a classroom. I learned it in a corner I could not get out of.

For years I looked successful on paper. Good title. Good salary. Two daughters I adored. And a quiet, constant fear underneath all of it: that if the income stopped, everything stopped.

I was building a career, building a business, and raising children at the same time. I lived in reactive mode. Drained. Short with the people I loved most. If you have ever run your life like an inbox, you know exactly what I am describing.

What I finally understood is that my problem was not a lack of financial knowledge. I worked in finance. I had the knowledge. My problem was that I had never built a financial structure that could survive a bad month, and I had never been taught that I was allowed to.

So I built one. Slowly, with real mistakes and real tuition paid. Then I built it again for a client. Then for another. Then for a room of employees. Then for a cohort.

That is the work now.

What I believe

Beyond the resume

Merrick, New York. Two daughters. One weekly newsletter.

I live in Merrick, New York. I am a mother of two daughters, which is the single largest reason any of this exists. I write a weekly newsletter because thinking out loud in public keeps me honest. I serve as a regional lead supporting young speakers through the Youth Speaker Challenge foundation, because the earlier someone learns to advocate for themselves out loud, the less they will need a coach at forty.

I am also building a philanthropic arm through NAZ Global and Kleos. More on that when it is ready to be more than a promise.
